Born in Jerusalem, 1952, to Yeara & Assaf, both of them born in Israel. Married to Nurit, father of Maya & Itai, living in Lehavim. B.A. in archaeology from Ben–Gurion University. Research assistant for five years, involved with field studies of Northen Sinai & Northen Negev. Manager of the Beer-Sheva Field-School of the Society for the Protection of Nature. Management member of Karev Educational Program and manager of the Negev district for fourteen years.
Shaul (Uli) Kornberg

Executive Director
Yifat is a graduate of the Prestigious Mandell program for educational leadership and holds an MA in Sociology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Yifat has experience working with NGO's especially with women and peace issues. As the association's director, Yifat played a critical role in establishing the school. Currently, she leads the expansion processes of the school and the community center.

Yifat is one of the founders of the Hagar Association. She served as the Executive Director from its establishment to May 2009.

Lauren comes to the Hagar Association after a Fellowship with the Israel Religious Action Center in Jerusalem. Originally from the Boston area, Lauren received her B.A. in Political Science with a certificate in International Relations from the University of Rochester in 2007. She holds an M.A. in Middle East Studies from Ben Gurion University.
